- Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the operating theater, ensuring efficient scheduling of surgical procedures and optimal utilization of resources.
- Staff Supervision and Development: Manage and supervise the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and technicians, providing training and support to enhance team performance.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and quality assurance standards, monitoring surgical practices to maintain high levels of patient care and safety.
- Equipment and Supply Management: Manage the inventory of surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are available, properly maintained, and sterilized.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the operating theater budget, monitoring expenses and identifying areas for cost-saving while maintaining quality care.
- Patient Safety and Risk Management: Implement and oversee protocols to ensure patient safety during surgical procedures, addressing any risks or incidents promptly and effectively.
