Description

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the operating theater, including scheduling of surgical procedures and managing the operating room environment.
Ensure that the operating theater is properly equipped, maintained, and prepared for scheduled and emergency surgeries.
Supervise and manage surgical staff, including surgeons, anesthetists, surgical nurses, and OT technicians.
Coordinate staffing schedules, provide training, and conduct performance evaluations.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, infection control standards, and sterile techniques in the operating theater.
Monitor and address any issues related to patient safety, surgical outcomes, and infection control.
Oversee the procurement, maintenance, and management of surgical equipment and supplies.
Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth surgical operations.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other departments regarding surgical schedules, procedures, and patient care.
Ensure that all equipment is functional, properly sterilized, and ready for use.
