OT Eye Technician

Preparation of Operating Room:

• Set up the operating room with the necessary surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies before each procedure.
• Ensure a clean and organized environment to support aseptic practices.

Assistance to Surgeons:

• Assist surgeons by handing them instruments and other supplies during procedures.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and maintain a sterile field throughout the surgery.

Equipment Handling:

• Operate and maintain surgical equipment, including lights, tables, and suction devices.
• Perform routine checks to ensure all equipment is in working order.

Patient Support:

• Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery, taking into account their comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to address any patient care requirements.

Sterilization Procedures:

• Participate in the sterilization of surgical instruments and ensure their availability for upcoming procedures.
• Follow established protocols for instrument sterilization and storage.
