Description

Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with musculoskeletal complaints, including medical history review, physical examination, and interpretation of diagnostic tests such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and blood tests.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to fractures, sprains, strains, arthritis, sports injuries, congenital deformities, degenerative disc disease, and musculoskeletal tumors.
Perform orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacement (e.g., hip, knee, shoulder), fracture fixation, arthroscopy, spinal surgery, soft tissue reconstruction, corrective osteotomies, and minimally invasive procedures.
Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific condition, medical history, functional goals, and preferences, which may include surgical intervention, medication management, physical therapy, and lifestyle modifications.
Provide patient education on musculoskeletal health, injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, post-operative care instructions, and expectations for recovery and functional outcomes.
Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and nurses, to provide coordinated and multidisciplinary care for orthopedic patients.
Participate in departmental meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes, including participation in research studies and clinical trials.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in orthopaedic surgery through continuing medical education, attendance at conferences, and engagement in research activities.
