<ul><li>Greet patients, verify their medical history, and update records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.</li><li>Perform preliminary eye tests such as visual acuity, color vision, and depth perception tests.</li><li>Assist patients with the completion of necessary forms and ensure that they are comfortable and informed about the upcoming procedures.</li><li>Operate and maintain optometric equipment such as autorefractors, tonometers, and phoropters.</li><li>Conduct tests such as intraocular pressure measurements, retinal imaging, and corneal topography.</li><li>Record test results accurately and report any abnormalities to the optometrist.</li><li>Assist the optometrist during eye examinations and other procedures by providing necessary instruments and equipment.</li><li>Help with fitting and adjusting contact lenses or glasses, including teaching patients how to use and care for them.</li><li>Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing ocular surgery or other procedures.</li></ul>
