Optometrist

Job Description:

Eye Exams: 

• You'll check people's eyes to see if they need glasses or contact lenses.
• You'll use special tools and machines to do these tests.
  Prescriptions: 
• If someone needs glasses or contacts, you'll write a prescription. 
• This tells them what kind of glasses or contacts they need.
  Help with Vision Problems: 
• You'll talk to patients about their vision problems and offer solutions. 
• You might recommend special glasses for reading or working on a computer.
  Eye Health: 
• You'll check for eye diseases and conditions. 
• If you find something wrong, you'll help patients get treatment.
  Customer Service: 
• You'll work with patients to find the right eyeglass frames or contact lenses.
• You'll answer their questions and make sure they're happy with their choices.
  
  Qualifications & Skills: 
• You need a degree in optometry.
• You must be licensed to work as an optometrist.
• Good communication skills to explain things clearly to patients.
