Description
- Proven work experience as an Ophthalmologist or similar role.
- Expert working knowledge of the diseases, functions and anatomy of the eye.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- The fellow will be proficient in the evaluation and management of diseases of the retina, vitreous, and choroid.
- They will be doing hands on training to develop skills.
- Comprehensive examination of the retina and vitreous including Indirect Ophthalmoscopy, 90D slit lamp bio- microscopic examination.

- OCT Angiography
- Autofluorescence
- Ultrasonography
- Electroretinography
- Fluorescein angiography
- ICG angiography
- They will be exposed to the evaluation and management of retinal conditions including vascular, infectious, inflammatory, neoplastic, degenerative, and hereditary disorders.
Conferences and lectures
- Classes will be practically –oriented and cases discussed as they are being presented.
- A weekly Case presentation will be done, where interesting cases are prepared and presented by each fellow.
- In addition, fellows are expected to read relevant retina textbooks and update themselves, besides asking the consultants their queries.

Benefits
Fellows will be paid a fixed monthly stipend of 60,000/- in the first year with increment of 10% in the following year. Leave for conferences and professional meetings will be allotted. A pre-approval is mandatory. Fellowship is subject to cancellation if the candidate is found to perform unsatisfactorily, on assessment by the mentor at one month’s notice.Contact Info
