Urgent opening for Consultant Ophthalmologist for a well reputed multi specialty hospital in Kerala.
Doctors having more than one year of experience prefer.. Malayalam speaking skill is required. Good salary package and other facilities provided.
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including visual acuity testing, refraction, slit-lamp biomicroscopy, tonometry, and fundus examination, to assess patients' ocular health and visual function.
Diagnose and manage a wide range of ophthalmic conditions, including refractive errors, cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and other eye diseases.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' clinical findings, medical history, and preferences, incorporating medical management, surgical intervention, and other therapeutic modalities as appropriate.
Prescribe medications, perform laser procedures, and recommend surgical interventions, such as cataract surgery, LASIK, corneal transplants, and retinal surgeries, to address patients' ophthalmic conditions.
Perform ophthalmic surgeries and procedures with precision and expertise, following established surgical protocols and safety standards, to achieve optimal surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Conduct pre-operative evaluations, surgical consultations, and post-operative care for surgical patients, monitoring their progress and managing any complications or adverse events.
