Description

Oversee the day-to-day operations of hospital departments, including but not limited to, facilities management, environmental services, security, and patient transport.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Coordinate with department heads to ensure alignment of operational activities with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Manage hospital resources, including personnel, equipment, and supplies, to meet patient care needs and operational demands.
Develop staffing schedules, assign duties, and optimize staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage and maintain quality standards.
Monitor budgetary expenditures and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining high-quality patient care standards.
Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies and procedures.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans and protocols to address potential threats or emergencies.
