Description

  • Ensure all charges have been correctly captured and allocated to the patient’s account prior to printing invoices.
  • Oversees the operations of the billing department, claims submissions, payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up, and reimbursement management.
  • Analyze billing and claims for accuracy and completeness.
  • Enter cash receipts if needed and assure correct allocations, distribution in accordance with the established protocol.
  • Maintains contacts with other departments to obtain and analyze additional
  • Patient information to document and process billings.
  • Prepares and analyzes accounts receivable reports, weekly and monthly financial reports
  • Audits current procedures to monitor and improve efficiency of billing operations
  • Ensures that the activities of the billing operations are conducted in a manner that is consistent with overall department protocol
  • Understands and remains updated with current billing regulations.
  • To make MIS report on daily and monthly basis
  • To track receivable timely basis
  • To issue credit note as per financial policy
  • Ensure not to keep any outstanding in billing
  • To maintain discount policy as defined by management
  • Supervises front office personals, which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.
  • Assist Unit Head/Directors in supervising daily operations of organization.
  • Address operational issues and concerns immediately
  • Supervise operations team to ensure operational excellence and achieving customer delight
  • Educate operations team on best practices, hospital policies and service excellence standards.
  • Assist in interviewing, recruiting, training, performance evaluation, promotion and termination activities
  • Maintain the facility clean, safe and organized.
  • Generate operational reports for management as needed.
  • Investigate patient/visitor concerns and implements appropriate courses of action.
  • Take corrective action in situations requiring immediate intervention, including interpretation and administration of hospital policy and work rules.
  • Communicate issues identified by front line staff to appropriate administrative team related to new administrative or departmental initiatives.
  • Maintain visibility with hospital staff through rounds.
  • Ensure to do tie-up with TPAs/Corporates/Govt. Agencies and maintain relation too with tied-up TPAs/Corporates/Govt. Agencies
  • Ensure to be available in case of surprise round by TPAs/Corporates/Govt. Agencies
  • Visiting Corporate/TPA’s/PSU’s/ AB-PMJAY for better understanding
  • Any other work assigned by the management from time to time.
     

Bio Medical Department

  • Reduction of downtime of critical biomedical Equipment.
  • Preventive maintenance of equipment
  • Ensuring service to be done in case of breakdown of bio medical equipment
  • Daily checklist of all medical equipment
  • AMC/CMC of medical equipment
  • CAPA in case if equipment is breakdown
  • Medical gas management
  • Training and education to all staff regarding usage of medical equipment


Medical Record Department

  • Compliances related to medical records guidelines/policies.
  • Compliances related to medico legal practices.
  • To keep medical record data as per govt. Guideline
  • To provide surveillance data to Local govt authority
  • To maintain tracker of outgoing files
  • To compliance with medical audit committee minutes
  • Audit of active patient on daily basis
  • To comply with passive audit
  • To maintain hygiene of medical records department
  • Training and education to all medical staff regarding all the medical documents
  • Ensuring the confidentiality of record must be maintained
     

Functions of Admin Department:

  • Maintain Strict Discipline in the Hospital.
  • Maintain No Smoking Policy
  • To be responsible for Staff Vehicle Parking
  • To be responsible for theft Incidents.
  • Responsible for transportation arrangement for employees as well as guests and also to authorize travel / accommodation bills
  • To maintain general discipline in the organization such as food wastage, proper uniforms, general grooming etc.
  • To be responsible for CCTV Monitoring / Fire Fighting Systems / Lift Maintenance / Building Maintenance
  • To manage all licenses and all renewal formalities on time to time basis.
  • Assets Management needs to be done as and when required you will have to take care for all facility management related issues
  • Develop training schedule especially Code Red, Code Yellow in coordination with HR dept. and conduct training programs for workers, based on respective department’s job responsibilities.
  • Conduct Mock Drills as per legal requirement of safety.
  • Responsible for overall related to Medical Transportation requirement.
  • Ensure daily inspection of all the Vehicles if needed.

  • Ensuring IT activities adherence to IT Policies
  • Maintaining security & confidentiality of Data
  • Provide required IT support to end-user departments
  • Coordination, escalation & reporting issues to superiors
  • Ensuring data backup
  • To check Internet, E-Mail, HIS Server & EPABX availability 24x7x365 days
  • To check UPS & AC cooling availability in Server Room
  • Availability of important inventory as standby
