Job Description
- Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Outpatient Department (OPD).
- Manage patient appointments, registration, and scheduling efficiently.
- Assist patients with inquiries, documentation, and guidance.
- Ensure proper communication between doctors, nurses, and support staff.
- Maintain and update patient records, files, and medical history.
- Monitor OPD workflow, patient flow, and waiting times.
- Supervise front desk staff, receptionists, and other OPD support personnel.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly OPD reports for hospital administration.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient confidentiality, and safety standards.
- Address patient complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist in billing, insurance documentation, and insurance claims related to OPD.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience.
