Description

Perform microbiological testing, including but not limited to, microbial limit tests, endotoxin testing, bioburden, sterility testing, and microbial identification.
Conduct routine and non-routine microbiological analysis of raw materials, in-process products, water, air, and surfaces to ensure that they meet quality and regulatory standards.
Perform validation and qualification of microbiological methods and equipment.
Ensure that all microbiological testing is performed according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and complies with regulatory standards
Monitor and control the microbiological quality of the production environment through regular air sampling, surface sampling, and water testing.
Investigate microbiological contamination events or deviations in manufacturing processes, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address microbiological issues in manufacturing or packaging processes.
Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed microbiological records, including test results, investigations, and CAPA plans.
Review and update microbiological SOPs, protocols, and other documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
