Description
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations by implementing policies, procedures, and programs.
- Conduct regular EHS audits, inspections, and assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor workplace conditions, ensuring that they meet safety standards and are conducive to the health and well-being of employees.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, identifying causes, and preparing detailed reports with recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and deliver training programs to employees on EHS best practices, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of necessary environmental permits, reports, and safety documentation to regulatory authorities.
- Maintain records of safety incidents, hazardous materials, waste disposal, and compliance activities for internal and external reporting.
- Ensure that appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and used by staff in accordance with safety requirements.
- Coordinate with management to promote a culture of safety and encourage employee participation in EHS programs and initiatives.
