Description

Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of the workplace to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Lead and coordinate safety training programs for employees, ensuring they understand safety practices, emergency procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, or near misses, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Maintain accurate records related to workplace safety, including incident reports, safety inspections, and compliance audits.
Monitor and manage hazardous materials handling, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and disposal to minimize environmental impact and ensure safety.
Collaborate with management and employees to promote a safety-first culture, ensuring ongoing communication and engagement with EHS initiatives.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of EHS programs and initiatives, recommending improvements as needed.
Ensure that personal protective equipment (PPE) is available and in use as required, conducting regular inventory checks and assessments.
Stay updated on changes in EHS regulations and best practices, ensuring that the organization remains compliant with evolving standards.
