Description

Policy Development: Develop, implement, and update environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace, including physical, chemical, biological, and ergonomic factors. Develop strategies to mitigate and control these risks.
Training and Education: Provide training programs and educational materials to employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and environmental awareness. Promote a culture of safety and awareness within the organization.
Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes. Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve overall safety performance.
Environmental Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Develop strategies to reduce the organization's environmental impact, including waste management, pollution prevention, and sustainability initiatives.
Emergency Response Planning: Develop and maintain emergency response plans for various scenarios, including fires, chemical spills, and natural disasters. Conduct drills to ensure employees are well-prepared in case of emergencies.
Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies regarding environmental, health, and safety matters. Stay informed about changes in regulations and update practices accordingly.
Auditing and Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance with EHS policies and regulations. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address any identified deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
