Description

Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' functional abilities, including physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and environmental factors.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, client goals, and evidence-based practice guidelines.
Implement therapeutic interventions and activities to improve clients' strength, coordination, mobility, sensory processing, self-care skills, social skills, and vocational abilities.
Provide adaptive equipment recommendations, home modifications, and assistive technology solutions to enhance clients' independence and safety in daily activities.
Educate clients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals about occupational therapy principles, treatment strategies, and home exercise programs.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and social workers, to coordinate care and achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
Document evaluation findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Participate in departmental meetings, case conferences, in-service training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and promote best practices in occupational therapy.
Adhere to ethical standards, professional guidelines, and legal regulations governing occupational therapy practice, including maintaining confidentiality, respecting clients' autonomy, and advocating for clients' rights and welfare.
