Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for helping students recover, develop, or improve the skills needed for daily living and working. The successful candidate will assess students' needs, develop customized treatment plans, and provide therapy to individuals and groups.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of students to determine their needs and identify areas for improvement in their daily living and work skills.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students, based on their specific needs and goals.
• Provide occupational therapy services, including therapeutic activities, exercises, and functional training, to help students improve their mobility, strength, coordination, and endurance.
• Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure that they are achieving their goals and making progress.
• Educate students and their families about their condition, treatment options, and ways to prevent further injury or disability.
• Work collaboratively with other professionals, such as physicians, special educators, and speech language pathologists etc., to coordinate student care and ensure that students receive comprehensive and effective treatment.
• Document student progress and maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active license to practice occupational therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing student needs and treatment plans.
• Prior experience in occupational therapy preferred.
• Salary: 30000/month – 50000/month depending on the level of expertise and experience.
