Description

Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and assessments of female patients, including history-taking, physical examinations, and gynecological screenings.
Provide prenatal care and management for pregnant women, including prenatal visits, ultrasound examinations, fetal monitoring, and prenatal screening tests, to ensure the health and well-being of both mother and baby throughout pregnancy.
Monitor pregnancy complications, such as gestational diabetes, hypertensive disorders, and fetal abnormalities, and provide appropriate medical management and referrals to maternal-fetal medicine specialists when indicated.
Perform obstetric procedures, including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, assisted vaginal deliveries (e.g., forceps or vacuum extraction), and management of obstetric emergencies, such as postpartum hemorrhage and shoulder dystocia.
Provide postpartum care and support for new mothers, including lactation counseling, management of postpartum complications, and contraception counseling and family planning services.
Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions and disorders, including menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, sexually transmitted infections, and menopausal symptoms.
Perform gynecological procedures and surgeries, such as colposcopy, hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, hysterectomy, myomectomy, tubal ligation, and surgical treatment of gynecological cancers.
Provide preconception counseling and reproductive health services, including contraception counseling, fertility evaluation, preconception screening, and management of infertility.
