Nursing Supervisor

Leadership and Supervision:

• Supervise and support the nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and hospital policies.
• Conduct regular staff meetings, provide performance feedback, and participate in the evaluation and development of nursing personnel.

Patient Care Management:

• Oversee patient care activities to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Address and resolve patient and family concerns, ensuring a positive patient experience.

Staffing and Scheduling:

• Develop and manage nursing schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels for all shifts.
• Coordinate with the HR department to recruit, hire, and orient new nursing staff.

Clinical Excellence:

• Ensure that all nursing practices comply with established clinical protocols, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote continuous improvement in nursing care through quality assurance activities and participation in clinical audits.

Education and Training:

• Identify training needs and coordinate ongoing education and professional development for nursing staff.
• Mentor and coach nursing personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff to coordinate patient care and operational activities.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, patients, families, and other stakeholders.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
