Description
- To take daily rounds of all wards of different departments in the Hospital & to report any abnormal/issues to DMS.
- Interpret, organize and direct a sound plan of organization and communication system in accordance with established policies and objectives of the department.
- Assume responsibility for optimum co-ordination of various departments within nursing department.
- Prepares organizational chart indicating lines of communication for the nursing service.
- Plans and ensures nursing service round the clock according to the need, providing total coverage to the hospital.
- Conducts periodic review & implementation of the staffing plan of nurses for the respective unit in coordination with the Director Medical Services (DMS).
- Plan the required MIS format & interpreting the data received from the MIS in order to provide written reports on all nursing activities of the respective units
- Arranging for special nursing squads at the time of emergencies.
- Represent nursing department in various committees and face the quality accreditation audits like ISO, NABH, JCI etc.
