Description

Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to the nursing staff, including Nurse Managers, Staff Nurses, and Nursing Assistants. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional growth, and accountability.
Develop and implement strategic plans, goals, and objectives for the nursing department in alignment with the overall goals and mission of the healthcare organization. Lead initiatives to improve nursing quality, efficiency, and patient outcomes.
Oversee recruitment, hiring, orientation, and training of nursing personnel. Develop retention strategies and initiatives to attract and retain qualified nursing staff. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members.
Develop, review, and update nursing policies, procedures, and protocols based on evidence-based practice, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accreditation standards.
Lead quality improvement efforts in nursing practice, patient safety, and clinical outcomes. Monitor nursing performance indicators, analyze data, and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
Provide clinical oversight and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to established nursing standards, best practices, and protocols. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize clinical outcomes.
