Description

Provide leadership and strategic direction to the nursing department, overseeing all nursing activities and operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with regulatory standards, best practices, and organizational goals.
Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, including nurse managers, supervisors, and frontline nurses, to ensure compliance with standards of practice, quality of care, and professional conduct.
Collaborate with other healthcare leaders, including physicians, administrators, and allied health professionals, to coordinate patient care, resolve operational issues, and optimize interdisciplinary collaboration.
Monitor and evaluate nursing performance metrics, such as patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and nursing quality indicators, and implement quality improvement initiatives as needed.
Manage nursing staffing levels, recruitment, and retention strategies to ensure adequate staffing to meet patient care needs while maintaining budgetary targets.
Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to nursing staff to enhance clinical competencies, leadership skills, and career advancement.
