<ul><li>Taking over the report from Nursing Supervisors daily (VIP &amp; Critical patient).</li><li>To determine the correct number of nursing personnel to achieve the objectives of the institution.</li><li>To establish criteria for evaluation of the Nursing personnel.</li><li>To conduct daily rounds in the wards and delegate work accordingly.</li><li>To co-ordinate with other departments of the hospital for the smooth functioning.</li><li>To develop an active recruitment plan.</li><li>To conduct interviews and select the best candidates.</li><li>Will be accountable for manpower, materials and maintenance of all equipment's and accurate records medical and nursing.</li><li>To plan for the yearly budget and monthly expenditure of the department.</li><li>To evaluate the effectiveness of the staff and their performance half yearly and annually.</li></ul>
