Job Description
- Provide routine nursing care to patients admitted in wards, ICU or special units.
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake–output and patient condition regularly.
- Administer prescribed medications, injections and IV fluids safely.
- Perform wound dressing, catheter care and other nursing procedures.
- Assist patients with daily activities, hygiene, feeding and mobility.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, procedures and surgeries.
- Observe patients for any changes in condition and inform doctors immediately.
- Maintain accurate nursing records, charts and patient files.
- Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment, care and discharge instructions.
- Follow hospital policies, infection control guidelines and patient safety standards.
