Description

Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including monitoring vital signs, assessing patient condition, and administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients in the ICU, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care.
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, oxygen saturation levels, and hemodynamic parameters using advanced monitoring equipment.
Perform invasive procedures such as arterial line insertions, central venous catheter placements, and endotracheal intubations as required.
Manage mechanical ventilation and other life support equipment, adjusting settings and parameters to maintain optimal respiratory function.
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition, initiating appropriate interventions and notifying physicians and other team members as necessary.
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, explaining treatment plans, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards to minimize the risk of healthcare-associated infections and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
