Description
- Provide direct patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being in accordance with medical orders and established protocols.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians, while monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
- Monitor patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate, and report abnormalities to medical staff.
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility, as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting care provided and any changes in patient condition.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medications, and post-treatment care instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Ensure that medical equipment and supplies are available and in proper working order.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, including proper disposal of medical waste.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide necessary assistance, including basic life support (BLS) if required.
