Description
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians, ensuring the delivery of safe and compassionate nursing care to patients.
- Perform routine nursing tasks, including vital signs monitoring, medication administration, wound care, and personal hygiene assistance, according to established nursing protocols and care plans.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) for patients, including feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance, to promote patient comfort and independence.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement appropriate nursing interventions to address patient concerns and achieve desired outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including electronic health records (EHR), nursing notes, and documentation of nursing interventions, observations, and patient responses to treatment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members, providing education, emotional support, and assistance in navigating the healthcare system.
- Monitor patient condition and response to treatment, reporting changes or abnormalities to registered nurses or physicians and collaborating on adjustments to the care plan as needed.
