Description

Coordinate and supervise daily nursing activities, including patient admissions, assessments, treatments, and discharges, to ensure efficient workflow and quality patient care delivery.
Assign nursing staff to patient care assignments based on acuity, staffing levels, and skill mix, ensuring equitable distribution of workload and optimal utilization of resources.
Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, including frontline nurses, nurse aides, and nursing assistants, to promote safe and effective patient care practices.
Conduct regular rounds on patient units to assess patient needs, monitor care delivery, and address any issues or concerns raised by patients, families, or staff members.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff, to coordinate patient care plans, implement treatment protocols, and achieve positive patient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with nursing standards, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including infection control practices, medication safety protocols, and patient rights.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, performance improvement projects, and patient safety programs to enhance the quality of nursing care and mitigate risks.
