Description

Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing department, aligning nursing initiatives with organizational goals and priorities.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, patient care delivery, and quality assurance.
Lead and develop a team of nursing professionals, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and staff development.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices in nursing practice and patient care.
Collaborate with other healthcare departments and disciplines to coordinate patient care, address interdisciplinary issues, and optimize patient outcomes.
Monitor and evaluate nursing care delivery processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Promote a culture of evidence-based practice and continuous learning among nursing staff, fostering professional growth and development.
Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and clinical expertise in complex patient care situations.
Manage nursing budgets, resources, and equipment to ensure efficient and effective use of resources while maintaining high standards of care.
Act as a liaison between nursing staff, administration, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate communication, resolve conflicts, and promote collaboration.
