Description

  • Develop and maintain nursing education curricula, learning objectives, and teaching materials for various nursing specialties, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, evidence-based practices, and organizational goals.
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver educational programs, workshops, in-services, and continuing education sessions for nursing staff, covering topics such as clinical skills, patient safety, infection control, and professional development.
  • Assess the clinical competency and proficiency of nursing staff through skills assessments, competency evaluations, and performance appraisals, providing feedback, coaching, and remediation as needed to support skill development and improvement.
  • Facilitate nursing orientation programs and onboarding processes for new hires and transitioning staff, introducing them to organizational policies, procedures, workflows, and resources to ensure successful integration into the healthcare team.
  • Promote evidence-based practice among nursing staff, facilitating literature reviews, research utilization, and quality improvement projects to enhance patient care outcomes and nursing practice effectiveness.
  • Coordinate and facilitate simulation-based training sessions and mock scenarios for nursing staff, using simulation technology and clinical simulations to simulate real-world clinical scenarios and enhance critical thinking and decision-making skills.
