<ul><li>To coordinate and participate in a variety of nuclear medicine procedures; to operate radiation detection and measurement instrumentation.</li><li>To ensure proper functioning of all nuclear medicine equipment's, to calibrate instruments and review calibration data to detect trends indicating instrument malfunction, to carry out periodic quality assurance and maintenance.</li><li>To evaluate recorded images for technical quality.</li><li>To process computerized image data to include function curves and reconstructed SPECT images.</li><li>To instruct patients regarding post procedure precautions.</li><li>To avoid spillage of radioactivity or contamination of the patient, premises, persons and material by exercising care during dispensing/administration of radioactivity.</li><li>To report to RSO and the nuclear medicine physician of any mishap in dispensing/administration of dosage to the patient or any unusual incident.</li><li>To maintain professional conduct, good communication skills, and confidentiality in the care of patients.</li></ul>
