Nuclear Medicine Physician

Responsibilities:

Diagnostic Imaging:

• Performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging tests using techniques like PET scans, SPECT scans, and other nuclear medicine imaging procedures. 

Treatment:

• Developing and administering treatment plans for various conditions, including thyroid, bone, liver, and other organ-related illnesses. 

Consultation:

• Providing guidance and consultation to referring physicians on appropriate test selection and interpretation. 

Patient Care:

• Managing patient care, including preparing patients for procedures, monitoring responses to therapy, and educating patients about their diagnosis and treatment. 

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and regulatory standards for handling radioactive materials.
