Description

  • Perform comprehensive cardiovascular evaluations, including history-taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, nuclear cardiology studies, cardiac MRI, and CT angiography.
  • Utilize non-invasive imaging modalities to assess cardiac structure, function, and blood flow, and diagnose a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathies, and arrhythmias.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians to evaluate patients with suspected or known cardiovascular diseases, provide timely consultations, and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines and patient preferences.
  • Manage patients with chronic cardiovascular conditions through pharmacological therapy, lifestyle modifications, risk factor reduction, and patient education to optimize cardiovascular health and prevent disease progression.
  • Coordinate and interpret cardiac diagnostic testing, including stress echocardiography, stress myocardial perfusion imaging, cardiac MRI, and cardiac CT angiography, to guide clinical decision-making and treatment planning.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary cardiovascular conferences, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives to review complex cases, discuss treatment options, and enhance the quality and safety of patient care.
  • Engage in teaching activities, including mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, and participate in continuing medical education (CME) programs, conferences, and research activities to stay updated with advancements in non-invasive cardiology.
  • Adhere to ethical principles, patient confidentiality, and professional standards of conduct in all aspects of clinical practice and patient care delivery.
  • Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and medical records accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHRs) and other clinical documentation systems.
