Job Description

1. Perform surgical treatment of brain, spine and nervous system disorders.
2. Diagnose and manage neurological conditions requiring operative intervention.
3. Conduct pre-operative evaluation and plan appropriate neurosurgical procedures.
4. Perform emergency neurosurgeries for trauma, hemorrhage and spinal injuries.
5. Provide post-operative care and monitor neurological recovery.
6. Interpret CT, MRI and other neuro-imaging for surgical planning.
7. Coordinate with neurologists, anesthetists and ICU teams for patient management.
8. Counsel patients and families about surgery, risks and prognosis.
9. Maintain accurate operative notes and medical documentation.
10. Supervise and train junior doctors and residents.
