Description

Diagnose and manage kidney diseases and disorders, including chronic kidney disease (CKD), acute kidney injury (AKI), nephrotic syndrome, and glomerulonephritis.
Perform diagnostic procedures such as kidney biopsies, ultrasound examinations, and lab tests to assess kidney function and identify underlying conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including managing medications, dialysis, and addressing co-morbidities like hypertension and diabetes.
Provide care for patients undergoing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, ensuring proper administration and monitoring of treatments.
Assist in kidney transplantation procedures, including pre-transplant evaluation, donor compatibility assessments, and post-transplant care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including cardiologists, endocrinologists, and dietitians, for comprehensive patient care.
