Description

Operate and maintain MRI machines, ensuring optimal image quality and equipment functionality.
Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process, answering questions, and addressing any concerns to ensure patient comfort and cooperation.
Correctly position patients and select appropriate imaging parameters based on the area to be scanned and the type of information needed.
Perform MRI scans following established protocols and adjust techniques as necessary to obtain the best possible images.
Adhere to safety guidelines to prevent risks associated with the magnetic field, including screening patients for contraindications (e.g., metal implants, pacemakers).
Perform initial evaluation of MRI images for quality and completeness, ensuring all necessary anatomical areas are captured.
Accurately document patient information, imaging procedures, and any observations in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Work closely with radiologists to discuss preliminary findings and ensure images meet diagnostic requirements.
Provide compassionate care, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
