Description

Perform MRI scans on patients according to established protocols and procedures, ensuring optimal image quality and diagnostic accuracy.
Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process, addressing any concerns, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the examination.
Position patients correctly on the MRI table and immobilize body parts as necessary to obtain clear images and minimize motion artifacts.
Operate MRI equipment to acquire images of the desired anatomical areas, adjusting parameters such as slice thickness, pulse sequence, and magnetic field strength as needed.
Monitor patients during MRI scans, observing for signs of distress or discomfort and responding promptly to address any issues or concerns.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to review imaging studies, discuss findings, and ensure accurate interpretation and diagnosis.
Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging protocols, and equipment settings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on MRI equipment, troubleshooting technical issues and reporting malfunctions as needed.
