<ul><li>Explaining the MRI process to patients and ensuring the patients comply with all safety standards.</li><li>Positioning, and possibly sedating, patients to capture clear images of the correct area of the body.</li><li>Removing and then replacing IVs and catheters for the MRI process.</li><li>Maneuvering the MRI equipment and positioning it to capture the correct images.</li><li>Performing regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.</li><li>Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.</li><li>Verifying patients' identity and reviewing physicians’ orders before beginning x-ray procedures.</li><li>Using x-ray equipment to take radiographic images of patients' bones, tissues, and organs as per physicians’ written orders.</li></ul>
