Description
- Medical Record Management: Organize, maintain, and update patient medical records in accordance with hospital policies, legal regulations, and industry standards to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Data Entry and Documentation: Accurately enter patient information, treatment histories, and diagnostic results into electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Confidentiality and Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to patient confidentiality guidelines and HIPAA regulations, safeguarding sensitive patient information at all times.
- Records Retrieval: Facilitate the timely retrieval of medical records for healthcare professionals, ensuring they have access to accurate patient information for effective treatment.
- Auditing and Quality Control: Conduct regular audits of medical records to ensure compliance with documentation standards and address any discrepancies or incomplete records.
