- Collect, label, and process clinical samples (blood, urine, swabs, body fluids) for microbiological testing.
- Perform routine and specialized microbiological tests including culture, staining, and sensitivity testing.
- Identify and report bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic pathogens under supervision.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Maintain accurate records of tests performed, results, and quality control data.
- Ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety protocols, biohazard handling, and infection control guidelines.
- Assist in internal and external quality assurance programs.
