Description

Microbiological Testing: Conduct microbiological tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to detect and identify microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, and viruses.
Sample Collection and Preparation: Collect, prepare, and process samples from various sources, including water, air, surfaces, and materials, using sterile techniques and equipment.
Media and Culture Preparation: Prepare culture media, reagents, and other materials required for microbial analysis, ensuring proper sterility and quality.
Environmental Monitoring: Perform environmental monitoring of cleanrooms, laboratories, and production areas to assess microbial contamination levels and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze test results, interpret microbial data, and prepare detailed reports for internal review and regulatory submission, including trend analysis.
Method Validation and Development: Develop and validate new microbiological testing methods to improve accuracy, efficiency, and detection capabilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as autoclaves, incubators, and microscopes, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning optimally.
Compliance with Regulatory Standards: Ensure all microbiological procedures comply with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and relevant regulatory standards such as FDA, WHO, or ISO.
Investigation of Contaminations: Investigate sources of microbial contamination in production processes or products, proposing and implementing corrective actions to resolve issues.
Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide microbiological training and support to production and quality teams, ensuring awareness of microbiological risks and best practices in contamination control.
