Description

Key Responsibilities:
1. Research and Content Development:
- Conduct in-depth research on medical and healthcare topics to gather accurate and up-to-date information.
- Interpret and synthesize scientific data, clinical trial results, and medical literature.
- Create written content that presents complex medical information in a clear and understandable manner.
2. Document Preparation:
- Prepare a variety of documents, such as research articles, clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, and medical education materials.
- Ensure that all documents adhere to regulatory guidelines, industry standards, and company policies.
3. Editing and Proofreading:
- Review and edit medical documents for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Check for proper grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
- Verify the accuracy of references and citations.
4. Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including medical professionals, researchers, regulatory experts, and marketing teams.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and insights.
5. Regulatory Compliance:

- Assist in the preparation and submission of documents for regulatory approvals.
6. Patient Education:

7. Medical Marketing:
- Create marketing materials, including sales aids, product monographs, and website content, to promote pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and healthcare services.
8. Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated with advancements in the medical field, including new therapies, technologies, and treatment guidelines.
- Attend conferences and workshops to expand knowledge and network within the medical writing community.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in scientific and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and document submission processes.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in using software tools for document preparation (e.g., Microsoft Word, LaTeX) and reference management (e.g., EndNote, Zotero).
- Knowledge of clinical research and the drug development process is a plus.
- Certification in medical writing (e.g., AMWA certification) is desirable.
