Description

Listen to recorded audio files dictated by physicians, surgeons, or other healthcare professionals and transcribe the content into written text.
Transcribe various types of medical reports, such as patient histories, progress notes, discharge summaries, operative reports, and diagnostic reports.
Accurately transcribe all dictated information while ensuring correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Ensure that all medical terminology, abbreviations, and codes are correctly used and transcribed, referring to medical dictionaries and resources as needed.
Edit and format transcriptions according to hospital or clinic formatting guidelines.
Ensure transcriptions are clear, concise, and correctly reflect the dictated information.
Ensure that all transcribed reports are stored and organized within the medical record system in a timely and secure manner.
Update patient charts with accurate and comprehensive documentation of medical conditions, treatments, and interventions
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) in the United States, or other local healthcare privacy laws.
