Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Medical Representative. The Medical Representative will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical terminology, and a passion for sales and customer service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Promotion and Sales: Promote and sell pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals. Build and maintain positive relationships with key decision-makers to drive product sales and achieve sales targets.
  2. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our pharmaceutical products, including their uses, benefits, and competitive advantages. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor products, and relevant medical research to effectively communicate product information to healthcare professionals.
  3. Doctors Engagement: Establish and maintain regular contact with healthcare professionals through in-person visits, phone calls, emails, and other communication channels. Provide educational materials, product samples, and other data to support informed decision-making by healthcare professionals.
  4. Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and strategic business growth. Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  5. Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and product inventory levels. Prepare and submit sales reports, expense reports, and other required documentation in a timely manner.
  6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry guidelines governing pharmaceutical sales and marketing activities. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including ethical standards and promotional guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, life sciences, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales or medical sales, with a track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex medical information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with a customer-focused approach to sales.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical marketing, product launch planning, or market access
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively, including prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within a designated territory.
  • Strong ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to compliance and professionalism in all interactions.
