Description

  • Promote Products: Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and therapeutic advantages of our herbal pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, emphasizing their quality, efficacy, and safety.
  • Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals in your assigned territory. Regularly visit healthcare facilities to present product information, address inquiries, and provide educational materials.
  • Sales Generation: Achieve sales targets by actively promoting our products, influencing prescribing behaviour, and securing product prescriptions from healthcare professionals. Identify new business opportunities and strategically expand our customer base.
  • Stock Management: Collaborate with stockists to ensure adequate product availability and proper liquidation of stocks. Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock audits, and provide timely updates on stock movements to optimize supply chain operations.
  • Payment Collection: Coordinate with customers to ensure timely payment collections. Collaborate with finance and accounts teams to resolve payment-related issues and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with distributors, stockists, and channel partners, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Provide necessary support and guidance to the distribution network to drive sales performance.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and changes in healthcare policies. Gather and analyse market intelligence to identify opportunities, challenges, and potential areas for business growth.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and competitor activities for management review.

 

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred. However, candidates with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience as a Medical Representative or in a similar sales role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively present information to healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and generate business growth.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, and the healthcare industry is an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications and digital tools for sales reporting and communication purposes.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
