Description

Develop and optimize treatment plans for radiation therapy, considering the type and location of tumors, prescribed dose, and critical structures to minimize radiation exposure to healthy tissues.
Conduct dosimetry calculations to determine the appropriate radiation dosage for individual patients.
Ensure accurate and precise delivery of radiation doses according to treatment plans.
Implement and oversee quality assurance programs to monitor and maintain the accuracy and precision of radiation therapy equipment, treatment planning systems, and related processes.
Calibrate and maintain medical imaging and radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators, CT simulators, and brachytherapy devices.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals in the application and interpretation of medical imaging technologies to aid in treatment planning.
Work closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, radiation therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment strategies and outcomes.
