Job Description
- Dispense medicines accurately as per doctor’s prescriptions.
- Verify prescriptions for dosage, interactions, and authenticity.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and precautions.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, stock levels, and expiry control.
- Ensure proper storage of medicines and cold chain maintenance.
- Maintain pharmacy records and billing through POS/HIS systems.
- Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff for medication orders.
- Handle purchase orders and vendor coordination when required.
- Follow pharmacy laws, hospital policies, and ethical standards.
