Job Description

1. Diagnose and evaluate patients with solid tumors and hematological malignancies.
2. Plan and administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormonal and targeted treatments.
3. Assess cancer staging and develop individualized treatment protocols.
4. Monitor patients during treatment and manage therapy-related toxicities and complications.
5. Coordinate with surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists and radiologists.
6. Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings for treatment planning.
7. Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, risks and prognosis.
8. Provide follow-up care to assess treatment response, recurrence and survivorship.
9. Maintain accurate medical records, chemotherapy orders and treatment documentation.
10. Ensure adherence to oncology safety protocols and infection control standards.
11. Participate in academic activities, audits, research and continuing medical education.
