Description

  • Provide primary healthcare services to patients of all ages, including routine medical examinations, acute illness care, chronic disease management, and preventive health services.
  • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, perform physical examinations, and interpret diagnostic tests to formulate accurate diagnoses and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications, order laboratory tests, and recommend therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based guidelines and best practices in medical care.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about health promotion, disease prevention, and self-management strategies for managing chronic conditions and maintaining optimal health.
  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including nurses, specialists, therapists, and support staff, to ensure continuity of care and integrated healthcare services.
  • Document patient encounters, medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and comprehensively in electronic health record (EHR) systems in compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies.
  • Collaborate with community organizations, public health agencies, and local resources to address social determinants of health, promote health equity, and improve access to healthcare services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and peer review activities to enhance patient safety, healthcare outcomes, and service delivery effectiveness.
