Description

Conduct comprehensive medical assessments of patients admitted to the hospital ward, including history-taking, physical examination, and review of medical records.
Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and post-operative care, in collaboration with attending physicians and consulting specialists.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their medical history, clinical findings, and diagnostic test results.
Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests and imaging studies, and perform medical procedures as necessary to optimize patient care and outcomes.
Monitor patients' clinical status, vital signs, and response to treatment closely, and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal patient care.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear explanations of medical conditions, treatment options, and prognosis, and addressing any questions or concerns raised.
Collaborate with nurses, allied health professionals, consultants, and support staff to provide coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
Document all patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record, ensuring compliance with institutional protocols and regulatory standards.
Participate in ward rounds, case conferences, and multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care plans, review treatment outcomes, and address clinical concerns.
Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities to stay abreast of advances in medical knowledge, technology, and evidence-based practices.
